When labeling your boxes use a decent marker, I personally recommend pental markers as they are great quality and not expensive. Clearly mark your boxes with their contents and origin or destination room, whichever works for you. Boldly mark the boxes so that it is clearly visible from a couple of feet away. This will save you time and a lot of stress when searching for items after just moving.
Use A Room Plan
A great tip to save time and extra handling is a room plan to indicate where your furniture will be positioned. Draw a plan for each room on an individual piece of paper. Think about the available space and the size of your furniture, if you have time use measurements to ensure that it will fit into place. Use a piece of blu tac to stick these to the doors of the associated rooms, as this will not leave a mark when it comes time to remove it. This will save you moving furniture around multiple times.
